bathing caps

A friend lent me these bathing caps for a kids shoot I had at work and I just couldn't part with them until I had done another shoot with them. Johanna and I headed down to the beach after work one afternoon and snapped these shots in the golden afternoon light. It was a really quick shoot because we were both getting eaten alive by mossies - still lots of fun though!

I roped in my little sister again for an afternoon of shooting in the studio. I generally prefer shooting outside as I prefer natural light and think that there is so much more emotion and feeling that can be captured on location... it's more of an adventure - seeing things and experimenting as the light changes around you. I was pretty happy with how these shots turned out though :)

Some bits and pieces of inspiration that my friend Aleena and I have been collecting for an upcoming shoot. It will be our first collaboration since she made the move to Sydney. We are hoping to play on the distance as a part of the concept for the shoot - very exciting!

We Are Handsome : The Romantic

I really love these behind-the-scenes shots of We Are Handsome's: The Romantic shoot. The shoot took place in Miami at the Shelborne Hotel and was photographed to perfection by She is Frank. I really love her style - so vibrant and so much feeling. This shoot looked like a lot of fun - and such an amazing location!
